Aha! Feeling lousy again! Reason? Who cares? Let's call it PMS. I just hate everything right now, and freely recognize said universal group has done nothing to suddenly incur my categorical condemnation.
And I'm not going to complain about it.
No, not this time.
This time I have a Plan.
I'll call it The Embrace Plan.

[Meet my mascot.]
No, no complaining. Instead I'm going to put Spider Jerusalem on my wallpaper, replace my screen saver with the creepy green crawl from Matrix, and wear black drapey clothing, drink too much coffee, and compose bad poetry in my journal (that's the REAL journal, the one with pages). I'll use a fountain pen and inkwell, so if we're very very lucky none of it will even be legible after I close the book again (they never include blotter paper when they sell those sets, do they?) Yes, I'll walk alone at night for hours in raw weather, in a dark purple duster, looking all broody and thinking dark thoughts that would make that girl from Twilight look like Pollyanna. I already have the duster.
I like this plan.
Hee, makes me feel better.
I think I'll walk the dog.
????!?!?D'oh!??!?!?!?!
Curse you Monkey mind!!

Date: 2010-07-12 02:58 pm (UTC)It really is oddly comforting. It really takes the pressure off having to like things. and oddly enough, makes me more capable of doing so.
I'm actually looking forward to being back in Atlanta, so I can spend a day in a proper poetry-writing setting, like Java Monkey.:)
